As you head out on the roads this summer, here are a few tips to help keep you safe.
Don’t drink and drive.
Please watch for motorcycles that may be hidden in your blindspot. Check your mirrors and over your shoulder.
Click it or Ticket – Wear your seatbelts. It’s the law, but also reduces vehicle related injuries.
Make sure your have your insurance ID card in the car. Check before your next trip, to make sure your card is handy and that your insurance hasn’t expired.
Remember, speeding and tailgating can lead to accidents.
Summer brings increased traffic to our streets and highways. During the summer months, tourists and vacationers add to our usual amount of traffic, and the weekends are busier than usual with people travelling to the beaches and attractions. It can get hectic out there! Safe driving practices are the best way to deal with the pressure of the increased traffic.
