A lot of our clients ask:  As long as I have insurance, isn’t anyone covered to drive my car?

The answer:  Unfortunately, NO.

All insurance policies have requirements, limitations and exclusions.  Most insurance companies want to know about everyone living in your household and anyone who drives your car on a regular basis.  Not disclosing this information could actually jeopardize your coverage.

Always notify us of all residents of your household.  It is very easy to see if it would cost any more to have them listed as drivers on your policy.  Also, you should notify us if someone outside your household drives on a regular basis.  All companies and policies are different, but if someone drives your car 3 or more times a year, they may be considered a regular driver, so always be on the safe side and check with us.  Remember, Aarco American is your agent, and we are here to work on your behalf.  We are here to do the shopping for you, and make sure you always have the best price available.

You work hard for your money, and we want to make sure your insurance policy is there for you when you need it.  You shouldn’t wait for your renewal, but when it’s time to renew your policy, take the time to make sure everything on your policy or new application is correct.

Aarco American specializes in low cost auto insurance and SR22 insurance in Illinois.
